TtT

Hey AIESEC!
It happened at cool, cool weekends.. in a small, small house… on a high, high mountain…  under the big breakfast table… full of sweet, sweet cookies… with hot, hot people… etc. What was it? When and where was it exactly? Who were those hot people? What did they do? May it happen again? Answers to those and more questions find in video!
It is already month ago you have not heard anything about Train the Trainers conference! We, OC Team of TtT 09, want to remind you, how GOOD it was! Check out video – trailer of TtT 09 and get ready for next one TtT that could happen already on spring/summer season year 2010! We want to thank everyone, who put their little finger to make this event come true! It was really one HOT event in AIESEC in Latvia! Keep in touch folks!

In name of OC of TtT 09

So You Think You Can Sell, AIESEC?

We already know you can dance AIESEC, but can you sell? As we all know raising TNs & balancing Supply and Demand is crucial for AIESEC to be SMART, SAVVY, STRONG & Fast and really live up to  being Gen 2010! SYTYCS is an MT TN Raising competition with the objective of rewarding LC’s, countries and  individuals who can sell and deliver results to AIESEC.

The competition starts from Nov 1st  and will be rewarded in 2 phases – one in December and at the end of Q1.  Entities will be rewarded on Absolute & Relative growth in MT TN’s raised  and relative growth in the amount of revenue from TN’s.

Your country or LC does not need to  sign up for this – everyone is automatically a participant! For more details you can visit the SYTYCS Wiki.

Expected downtime of MyAIESEC.net on Thursday November 5

Dear members of AIESEC,

Hope this communication finds you all really well.

As you may have experienced during last days myaiesec.net performance has degraded. Also few bugs have been reported due to the performance. The reason of it is that the database is reaching its limits in terms of space as people are using more the system and the numbers of users is constantly increasing, which is something that comes along with our organizational growth. Moreover, during last and next days we are installing new functionalities in myaiesec.net for you all to use and have a better Virtual AIESEC XP.

As we need to move fast and bring up a solution as quickly as possible, unfortunately we will require a downtime of myaiesec.net to perform the different activities to solve the current performance issue and prepare the system for the next functionalities coming at the end of this week.

The downtime is scheduled for next Thursday 5th of November from 4am GMT until 9am GMT (the latest).

We apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience that this might cause.

Sincerely yours,

Lucas Florez

Vice-president Information Management

This is an opportunity you’ve been waiting for…

The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has just opened 2 new differing internships at its Brussels branch (former ABNAMRO Bank). Our colleagues and management are very happy with the quality of AIESEC interns; therefore we are looking forward for new people through AIESEC network.
